Why Liquid Herbals
Herbal Extracts Pure Herbs Ltd.

For herbal extracts, there are none better than Pure Herbs, Ltd. (established by Dr. Eugene Watkins). I've tried several but this is the best herb company I know for herbal extracts. The tinctures are made with a neutral alcohol and water which gives the extract an herbal food in a "pre-digested" form. It should be noted that when you get the full strength of an herbal food, a little goes a long way. This is a "natural medicine" made from herbal food.
What's the advantage of herbal extracts over herbs in a capsule? Liquid herbs are absorbed more easily into the body's system. Liquids start working for the body the second the herb hits the tongue. A capsule must go into the digestive system and be reabsorbed to begin working. Another advantage of liquid is they can be applied externally as well as internally. I can apply them topically on my skin directly over a particular organ or painful area. I can use them as a mouthwash.
