ARNICA - Beneficial for supporting the nervous system and provides support for your bones.*
For external use only! Excellent first-aid for bruises, sprains, broken bones or concussions. Make several applications externally to the area until relief is felt. This is a very swift remedy. An overnight soak can be made for serious cases by putting 40 to 80 drops in ½ cup of water and dampening a cloth or gauze with the solution and covering the injured area. Cover this with plastic sandwich wrap and hold in place with a bandage. Change the dressing once a day and allow the area to dry before reapplying the dressing.
If the skin is sensitive, then apply vitamin E oil from 100 i.u.(International Unit) capsules prior to the dressing. The area can also be washed between dressings. Be sure to discard old dressings and never reuse. Most sprains respond rapidly and are usually corrected with a single overnight dressing or a simple single external application by rubbing in the drops. Arnica can also be used on the pulse points - 5 to 10 drops on each wrist and temple and back of the neck for emotional and physical shocks, upsets, anxiety or when frightened. 1 to 5 drops a day reduces cholesterol when rubbed on the pulse points in a similar manner. For an excellent sore throat remedy, spray with a spray bottle the sore area, using a mixture of 10 drops of the extract to one tablespoon of water.
DOSE: EXTERNAL USE ONLY
T.G. & P-W - Beneficial for the maintenance of healthy teeth and gums.* (Blood Root, Myrrh, White Oak Back, Marshmallow, Mullein, Green Ginger, Indian Tobacco, Scullcap, Knitbone, Black Walnut Hulls and Gravel Root).
(Teeth, Gums and Plaque) - First of all, please let us recall that teeth were meant to be in good condition, look well, and serve easily for a lifetime. And, they did this long before there were dentists. The skeletal evidence of this is abundant, and shows the exact point of contact when poor diets were introduced to a community group by what was considered "civilization". But, what can we do to ensure healthy teeth and correct existing problems? Answer, use the teeth and gum herbs and reduce the intake of refined carbohydrates (refined sugar and white flour products). Blood Root eats and cleans away plaque ( a nasty buildup of bacteria that eats the roots of teeth and lays down a disgusting odor-forming deposit). Blood Root destroys plaque at the rate of about 50% with each 2 weeks of use. White Oak Bark is an antibiotic and astringent to tighten up teeth in their sockets. Myrrh, of Biblical heritage, was employed for thousands of years for dental procedures to prevent infections and heal damaged gums. This powerful formulation of T.G.& P.-W is allied with another formula, OL'#11, which is part of its combination. OL'#11 is a repairer of bone, flesh, cartilage and nerves. Never has more complete coverage been developed for healthy teeth and gums. As an aside, if you have a toothache much can be done. Sometimes it is as simple as giving enough minerals to the teeth. For example, if the body is mineral deficient, the teeth will hurt. They "scream" for minerals, as do bones that are broken or mineral deficient. When they do, administer as much as 3 teaspoons full of A.C.S. (All Cells "Salts" minerals) to the sufferer. If due to mineral deficiency, the pain will stop within minutes. Repeat this as often as it starts to hurt again. The teeth will soak up these minerals like a sponge. If a tooth is simply aggravated beyond the point of being consoled, then saturate a cotton ball or even a piece of paper napkin with T.G.& P.-W and Vitamin E (from a capsule), add a drop of Clove Oil or Oil Of Cajeput to this. Place this between the tooth and the cheek and leave in place until the pain subsides. Another thing that can be done is to take massive amounts, such as 10,000 mg. at a time, of Vitamin C during the time of discomfort. Who knows, you just may save yourself a root canal.
COMBINATION: Blood Root ,Myrrh, White Oak Bark, Marshmallow, Mullein, Mugwort, Indian Tobacco, Scullcap, Knitbone (Comfrey), Black Walnut Hull, Gravel Root.
DOSE: For daily maintenance, 20 to 40 drops, once per day in a little juice, internally. For active cases of gum, plaque and tooth problems, 20 to 40 drops on the tongue or in juice, following meals. Additionally, soak a cotton ball with T.G.& P.-W and place between teeth and cheek overnight, after brushing. Or 40 drops in the water-pick container, place on a low speed setting and irrigate the gums between the teeth areas nightly, after brushing. Be sure to run a full container of plain water through the water-pick to flush the instrument after using T.G.& P.-W. Sometimes toothpastes, especially the candy varieties these days, with chemical flouride and strange ingredients, which actually do more harm than good, just do not do an adequate job of cleaning gums and teeth and problems occur. Try a tooth powder. Get one which does not contain urea, chemical flouride, titanium dioxide or other strange ingredients. Don't worry about scrubbing the enamel off of the teeth. If you are taking minerals, and have a daily intake of Vitamin D, then the teeth will maintain themselves just fine.
KNITBONE & FENUGREEK - Helps maintain healthy lymphatic system and blood.* (Knitbone and Fenugreek).
(Knitbone is sometimes called Comfrey) - An old faithful and user-friendly herbal team. When these two herbs are combined, we have a trusted team to gently and assuredly heal and clean the fluids of the body, especially the lymphatic fluid (the same clear fluid you see drawn to the surface in a blister). Your body contains more lymphatic fluid than blood. This fluid circulates through its own channels and goes where the blood, which is thicker, cannot. It is, essentially, filtered blood without the red blood cells in it and alkaline (anti-acid) in nature. The lymph also gets used and abused as a "sewer system" by the blood stream when it is overloaded with debris. The blood dumps its wastes into the lymph where it can become less dangerous by diluting it. The lymph stream moves around primarily, by the movements of the body during exercise and can eventually dump its wastes back into the blood stream where it can be eliminated by urine, bowels, skin and lungs. The lymph can, however, become so clogged up and congested that it resembles a stagnant pond, which then becomes the breeding ground for "dis-ease" organisms. Tonsils and spleen may swell and hurt. In advanced cases, continual lumps may be felt anywhere, especially in the neck, breasts, underarm, groin, anal area, and in the liver and intestinal areas, both in the front and in the back of the body. The swelling may involve the entire body. At this point, we need some form of exercise, such as walking, as well as a lymphatic detergent and antibiotic with 6 to 8 glasses of a good quality spring water per day. Fenugreek penetrates the lymphatics and acts as detergent and antibiotic; Knitbone soothes and heals the inflammation. So well does Fenugreek permeate the body when a person takes it, often you can detect the distinct, spicy aroma when you sniff the surface of the skin. Be sure you use a good bowel management program along with Knitbone and Fenugreek to flush out what the Knitbone and Fenugreek clean out of the body.
